Budget Breakfast Briefing 2025
The Minister for Finance Jack Chambers who attended the sell out Kinsale & District Lions Club Budget Breakfast Briefing which was a huge success, attended by all sectors of the community continued his visit to meet the Chair of KYSS Con Cadogan and his team James O’ Mahony, Geraldine Machin, Kieran Harte, Ger Rice and all the volunteers of KYSS to launch a video promoting positive mental health which you can down load with a QR code before visiting the impressive Kinsale Community School.
KYSS is a vital service in the community of Kinsale and a community group leading the way in promoting positive mental health. James O’ Mahony and his team working with young people and their families , adopting a person centred approach that is inclusive for all. The video is really impactful and the Minister commended all involved and the good work being done by the Chair Con Cadogan and his team members of KYSS Kinsale who’s website is www.kyss.ie, Kinsale Your Support Services, supports communities mental health and is a non-profit organisation.
The Minister commended the great work done by all the Kinsale community groups and sense of community on his visit and the team at KYSS, thanking them for their invaluable support in the community, helping supporting and advising. The Minister received a warm welcome by all community groups in the heart of the town and his Kinsale visit with Kinsale & District Lions Club members and volunteers was well received by all which ended with the Minister laying a wreath at the Garden of Remembrance which made a lasting impression.
