Managing Partner and founder Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA leverages 25 years’ experience and has an extensive network of business and professional connections with a strong focus on the commercial agenda, he plays a key advisory role with clients. Fitzgerald & Partners Accountants are based in Kinsale, Co. Cork with a team of experienced professionals. Fitzgerald & Partners Accountants offer end to end solutions that are designed to meet the various needs of its growing client base. Cormac chairs the SMP committee of CPA Ireland of which he is past President and has advised a broad range of clients in public, private and non-profit sectors…offering clients strategic and innovative solutions to achieve outcomes in their best interest .The firm is a member firm of CPA Ireland, ISME, Kmend, Enterprise Nation and Kinsale Chamber of Tourism & Business . We are currently recruiting new team members.
Our firm are statutory auditors, accountants and tax agents. We are have extensive experience in the hospitality sector and also private clients and HNWI moving to the area where we help in tax planning the relocation. Our payroll outsourcing is a growing area with the increased changes that helps businesses with this process. We are always on the look out for new trainees and team members that are interested in joining us. Using digital is helpful in our sustainable journey and adding value to our clients we keep regularly updated with technical updates each quarter.

Cormac Fitzgerald
FCPA, Managing Director
Cormac Fitzgerald FCPA, is an accountant with over 25 years’ experience working with SMEs of all sectors. Cormac has spoken nationally and internationally on SME issues, and was a guest speaker at the ICA India International conference in India addressing over 2,500 accountants on the theme of Supporting SMEs in Ireland. Cormac is passionate about supporting business, entrepreneurs and growing SMEs. Cormac also advises a diverse range of private clients across leading brands and multiple sectors helping them in a business advisory capacity. Dealing with SMEs in multiple sectors at all stages of the business cycle be it start -up, growth or exit together with his team. Combined with his vast experience in business he enjoys working with SMEs in all sectors from healthcare to hospitality. Cormac chairs the SMP/SME committee of CPA Ireland and an active member of ISME and Kinsale Lions Club which does local charitable work.

Lisa Whelton
MBA, Account Manager
Lisa Whelton is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting Honours Degree. She then went onto complete a Masters in Management Information and Managerial Accounting Systems in University College Cork. She has worked in practice for 5 years before she joined Fitzgerald & Partners.
Lisa has knowledge and experience in a wide range of areas, including VAT, year-end accounts from working with clients across various different industries. Dealing with small, medium and large clients.

Linda Farley
Office Manager
Linda commenced working in Fitzgerald & Partners in August, 2006 and has previously worked for a range of small and medium sized offices over the years in Cork and abroad and has over twenty years’ experience, primarily as office administrator working with clients across a variety of sectors including dealing with clients on the telephone, general office administration including preparation and posting of invoices and quotations, organising meetings, setting up appointments, the organisation of filing, Dictaphone typing and some book-keeping. My previous work experience has enabled me to deal hands on with a wide variety of customer queries from which I have developed many skills in communication and customer relations. Experienced at time management and prioritising tasks to accomplish projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Also helping out in local voluntary charity projects as needed.

Ann O’Connell
Accounts Assistant
Ann has recently joined our team at Fitzgerald & Partners. Her previous experience includes working in SMEs in various industries, and the public sector. Ann’s experience covers financial administration including payroll, bookkeeping and credit control and a great addition to our team in 2023. Ann helps, supports and advises Start-Up’s, Entrepreneurs and SMEs.
